Am I a typical golfer ?

I don't practise enough to groove my swing.

I don't play enough to test my ungrooved swing under real life conditions.

Yet when I think about how I have played, I'm always concentrating on where I went wrong, and how many shots I wasted, rather than thinking of the good stuff I did out there.

Silly blimmin' game.

You'd have to do something pretty special to fall outside the normal behaviour of a golfer in order to refer to yourself as NOT typical.

I think you'd have to make some kind of a scale and decide whereabouts you are on it.
You're probably above a lot but below many << accurate scale that :D
