Aw c'mon - no one even the least bit interested in commenting on how Mickelson was occasionally chipping like a 28 handicapper and Woods came virtually last ?

Mickelson's putting can look surprisingly ordinary at times, dunno what's wrong with Tiger, it's not like he has to spend his days at work before grabbing a bucket of balls at the range in the evening :D

LOL - no, he certainly doesn't :)

Maybe he needs a visit to Dr Bob Rotella to re-attach his head

Woods has been talking to Sean Foley this week.
Foley has spent a significant amount of time with Andy & Mike, I suspect Tigers game will see an improvement.

My first reaction was to think that if Tiger gets assistance from someone with a link to Plummer & Bennett and he then subsequently recovers some form, that there'd be good press for S&T, but then I realised that the nay-sayers will always find a way to deny the benefits.

Having trawled the web a lot lately for S&T material I've seen a huge amount of support for it, but where there's criticism, it's very often in angry, sometimes expletive-filled outbursts with no substance or supporting analysis. I've seen comments such as "Stand and tilt is a loser swing for losers", and "stack and tilt is for people who can't play golf or any sport. What a joke". Small-minded idiots who can't make an argument, frankly.

There are a few places where there's a detailed technical analysis comparing various swing components, but I think I only found one that was quite impartial. The others were usually coming down on the side of negativity regarding S&T.

Back to Tiger, I can't deny that he's an incredible golfer, but for some reason I've always warmed more to other players out there on the tours. I can't find any real sympathy for the personal predicament in which he's put himself and in any case IMHO it's his personal business. He's great for the game and no doubt for business, but there are lots of other players out there to watch aside from Tiger trying to recover from another wild drive.

I've seen some top-of-back-swing positions of Tiger's that seem to show he's stacked, but maybe you guys can confirm that ? And if he is indeed stacked, what is it that makes his driving so wild on occasion ?

Slingshot.
