It's announced on Tiger's website that he's set to return to golf at the Masters next month. It wasn't exectly unexpected but there was a little doubt as to what was going on. I think it's the perfect time to come back as there will already be a media frenzy simply because of the nature of the tournament. It's not like we don't normally see Tigers entire round shot by shot when he plays... so it should be business as usual. I also think it's a safety valve for him as I don't think the marshals at Augusta will stand for any hecklers in the crowd... or at least not anyone who takes it too far. Their setup is so well orchestrated that they are the only tournament that will have some authority to protect him somewhat - provided they choose to do so. It's also a sign of respect for the tournament as missing it would certainly be interpreted by the media as Tiger thinking he's bigger than the game, ie: "How could he possibly miss the masters, doesn't it mean anything to him?"
Hopefully he'll play well and finish second to Mickelson
